Passionate About Prayer - We believe the attitude and action of prayer is essential to everything we do. (Colossians 4:2)
Authentic In Our Walk - Authenticity, integrity, openness, and sincerity will define us. "The goal of our instruction is love, from a good conscience, a pure heart, and a sincere faith." (1 Timothy 1:5)
Committed To The Uncommitted - We believe that lost people matter to God; therefore, they matter to us. Jesus came to seek and save the lost and has left us here, in part, to do the same. Our individual lives and corporate efforts will reflect this conviction. (Luke 19:10)
Relevant & Innovative - The Bible does not tell us to use only certain styles of music, or to present our message only through words. The Bible does make it clear, however, that we are to find ways to effectively bring the message "into all the world" in order to make disciples. We believe this will require careful scrutiny of everything we do - new practices and old - and a willingness to change when necessary within biblical parameters, in order that we, "by all possible means might save some." (1 Corinthians 9:22)
Committed To Community - Belonging to our community requires a commitment to being intentionally involved with others in accountable, encouraging relationships. We believe life change happens best in the context of relationships. In clusters of caring people, participants share and encourage each other toward spiritual growth. Here people can experience the benefits of church and enjoy the kind of relationships that only develop in small, safe settings. (Hebrews 10:24-25)
Focused On Ministry & Service - We believe that each believer has received a special gift and should employ it in serving others, as good stewards of the manifold grace of God. Spiritual giftedness and maturity determine where and how a believer serves. We believe excellence honors God and reflects His character. We strive for excellence without compromise in all areas of our ministry and lives. (1 Peter 4:10; Colossians 3:17)

Bio

Pastor James Shanks

PASTOR James is the Lead Pastor at Kingdom Redeemed Ministries in Detroit, Michigan, a growing non-denominational Church. He brings over nineteen years of combined Pastor, Associate Elder, Ministerial Alliance Leader and Trainer. Pastor James has been ordained to minister to youth, adults and families the word of faith that will change their lives forever. He studied spiritual formation at Ashland Seminary and Biblical Theology at Heritage Center for Biblical Studies. Feeling the call of God through His Spirit, he was called to lead others into an intimate relationship with Christ.

Sharing the message of hope and faith, it is the vision of Pastor James that through innovative and unique ministry outreach, Kingdom Redeemed Ministries Detroit will establish a Christ centered culture that will create people who cannot be destroyed! Pastor J, as he is known, is married to Administration Pastor Apostle Lovevett Shanks and is father to a blended loving family of six children! Ashley, Alexandrea, Bryan, Dequan, Jarell, and Nissan.

Apostle Lovevett Shanks

Apostle Lovevett is the Administration Pastor at Kingdom Redeemed Ministries in Detroit, Michigan. She brings over ten years of serving in ministry as a Teacher, Trainer, Disciple Maker, Lead Elder, and Administrator. Lovevett was ordained as an Elder in 2016; accepting her call to Equip, Train, and Send laborers of the Lord Jesus Christ she was confirmed as an Apostle in 2019 under the Apostolic Realignment of Church Culture. Certified through Our Journey of Cancer Care Ministry in 2017 she helps ministries set up Cancer Care Ministries in their Churches. As a marketplace leader for over 20 years, Lovevett is skilled in the areas of Nonprofits and holds a certificate in Grant Writing. She uses all her Marketplace and God-Given gifts to advance the Kingdom of God.

Called to be a Witness of Hope of the Lord Jesus Christ, her HOPE Conferences prepare women and men to share their testimonies of Hope to The World. She shares the vision of her husband Pastor James to share the message of hope and faith using a Christ-centered culture which will create people who are strong in their faith and walk with the Lord Jesus Christ. Married to Pastor J they share a blended family of 4 sons, 2 daughters, and eight adorable grandchildren.
